A Ferris wheel is 10 meters in diameter and boarded from a platform that is 5 meters above the ground. The six o'clock position on the Ferris wheel is level with the loading platform. 

The function H(t)=−5cos(π42t)+10 gives your height in meters above the ground t seconds after the wheel begins to turn.

2. How many seconds of the ride (1 full revolution) are spent higher than 11 meters above the ground?

First of all, to get a 1 revolution every 84 seconds, it should be h(t) = -5cos((1/42)π t) + 10. Second, consider graphing h(t) and the line y = 11. From here, determine the intersections of the two curves and get to the answer.
