Do solid structures or objects vibrate or just the particles that make up the solids/structures?

Solid objects do not vibrate. (That we can see and/or feel and/or hear. However, molecules inside a solid vibrate. Does this mean the solid structure or object itself vibrates or just the particles that make up the solid?

A solid has a fixed shape and fixed volume because the particles can move only a little.The particles vibrate back and fourth but remains in their fixed position.As a solid is heated, the particles vibrate faster and faster.
