Curling stones always have the same mass, nonetheless, the scenario presented here is to establish a frictionless environment.

The formula that you want to work with is:

FΔt = mΔv

Impulse = change in momentum.

The impulse is the same for both stones given the data.

c) requires looking at each stones velocity (relative to their masses) and using the formula for kinetic energy:
