Hi Lia,
B/c horizontal and vertical motions are independent, the vertical motion in both cases represents free fall with zero starting vertical velocity.
For that, the time of fall from a hight X is Sqrt(2X/g). Comparing two cases, where X=2H for B and X=H for A the time for B should be Sqrt(2) times larger
