Time of travels is calculated by knowing that their vertical accelerations are equal to g, hence they hit the ground at the same time. For horizontal travel for projectile A we have: dA=vt. While for projectile B we have: dB=2vt. We conclude that: dB=2dA. That is: B will travel twice as far horizontally as A.
