We know that a clock is 2pi radians (360 degrees) around because its a circle [θ = 2pi rad].
We also know that in a whole clock cycle (i.e. 1 hour of time for a minute hand) that there it takes is
1 hours * 60 min/hr * 60 sec/min = 3600 seconds [t = 3600 sec].
So to get the angular speed of the minute hand, we take θ/t = 2pi rad/3600 sec and get that
ω = pi / 1800 rad/sec
