GIVEM THE GEOMETRIC SEQUENCE WHERE a2=4 AND r=3.WRITE AN EXPONENTIAL FUNCTION THAT WILL CONTAIN THE DOMAIN OF THE SEQUENCE.

You should show this to your teacher. This should either be f(n)=4/9(3)^n or f(n)=4(3)^n-2; or f(x)=4/9(3)^x or f(x)=4(3)^x-2. Since x is normally presumed to be a real number, and n is normally presumed to be an integer, the correct answer should be one of the first two pairs. A function should not change variables. If you have f(x), it should equal an expression with x in it. If you have a function f(n), it should equal an expression with n in it.
