(I do not really understand how problems like this work, any explanation would be appreciated)


  1. Find the x- and y-components of the vector d→ = (4.0 km, 29 degrees left of +y-axis).

Express your answer in kilometers.


  1. Find the x- and y-components of the vector v→ = (6.0 cm/s, −x-direction).

Express your answer in centimeters per second.


  1. Find the x- and y-components of the vector a→ = (11 m/s2, 40 degrees left of −y-axis).

Express your answer in meters per second squared.
