How do we schedule a tutoring session with a certain tutor? How do we place the appointment within the Wyzant calendar?

Short answer: you can't. You can request a specific time from a specific tutor, but only the tutor can actually schedule the session (which automatically places it in the calendar). This is to ensure that both of you are on the same page. Wyzant tells students what hours a tutor is generally available, but does not tell them whether a tutor is already busy during some of those hours.

The flip side: many tutors use outside sites like Calendly to coordinate with students and make clear whether a time Is actually open or not. Ask your tutor if they use any outside scheduling systems to do this. Not everyone does, and may prefer different apps for the job.
