Very briefly, I can say:
Particle motion deals with the movement of individual particles and doesn't inherently require concepts like length and frequency. In contrast, wave motion describes the propagation of disturbances or oscillations and relies on wavelength and frequency to describe its fundamental characteristics. These two concepts address different aspects of physical phenomena and have distinct properties and requirements.
