The polynomial of degree 3, P(x), has a root of multiplicity 2 at x=2 and a root of multiplicity 1 at x=−3. The y-intercept is  y=−8.4; Find a formula for P(x).

P(x)=a(x-2)²(x+3)

P(0)=a(0-2)²(0+3) = a(12) = -8.4 --> a= -8.4/12 = -0.7

P(x)=-0.7(x-2)²(x+3)
