Most animations that are moving are thought out pieces by a team of professional artists and storytellers. They are formulated to draw upon the emotional cords of humanity. In my lessons at my work, we talked about professional script writing for animation and it does come to a point of knowing literature devices and understanding appeal. Including music, narrative and visual generation. This is something I think no AI can replicate still to this moment.

I'm going to discuss a feature film that moved me most recently that resonated well with me...this film is Inside Out. This film moved me emotionally because at the time when I watched it which was a few years after its initial release because I avoided watching it because I wasn't ready to watch it and tackle the emotional aspect of it and addressing the things that I was feeling at the time. When I watched it, it was during an era of my life where I was beginning my journey with healing through therapy and inner child work. This movie made me cry because I saw a lot of myself in the main character with having these emotions and trying to only see the joy in everything and not understanding that there are multiple sides to experiences and emotions that can exist at the same time and that is okay. I believe this story being told in an animated form really hits home with how animation is an amazing medium to explore telling stories about emotions and feelings in a meaningful way that can resonate with adults and children at the same time. I am excited for the follow up sequel to the film because it introduces an arrangement of new emotions that we go through and learning ways to cope and work through our emotions in ways that are healthy. This film allowed me to put my experiences and feelings into perspective and contributed to healing my inner child and it is one of the reasons why I love animation.04/01/24
