Assume that the height of your cylinder is 6 inches. Consider A as a function of r, so we can write that as A(r)=2πr2+12πr. What is the domain of A(r)?

Mark M.

As written the domain of A(r), all values of r that are meaningful, is all real numbers greater than zero. Additional constraints?

Hi Stewart M, your question looks like the first part of a three part question posted by Stan W a few days ago. Anyway it was answered by Davy O and another tutor. There was also a similar comment about the domain. Maybe you can find it under “Answered Questions”
