Use the Factor Theorem to show that x − c is a factor of P(x) for the given values of c.
P(x) = x3 − 10x2 + 28x − 24; c = 6
Since P(6) = ? ,x-6 is a factor of P(x) by the Factor Theorem.
Factor P(x) completely.
P(x)= ?

Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
P(6) = 0
P(x) = x^3 -10x^2 +28x -24
divide P(x) by x-6 to get a quadratic which you can solve
by factoring
(x-6)(x-2)
P(x) = (x-2)(x-6)^2
