The formula for sound Intensity I = P/A
Where P represents Power in Watts;
A is the area of a sphere as the sound moves away from the point p in all directions.
I=P/A A=4πr2 r is the radius
We are given: Power = 130.0 W; r=6.0m
We are asked to determine the Intensity at x.
I = 130.0W/(4π(6.0m)2)
I = 0.287363.. The values given show 2 significant digits. So I=0.29W/m2
Hope this helps..
