1.   A ball leaves a 0.50 m high table with an initial horizontal velocity of 2.0 m/s.

a. What is the time required for the ball to hit the ground?

b. What is the horizontal distance between the edge of the table and the point where the

    ball lands?

c. What is the velocity of the ball just before it strikes the ground?
