asked 05/04/23Augmented matrix
Write the augmented matrix of the system and use it to solve the system. If the system has an infinite number of solutions, express them in terms of the parameter z.
-15x+15y+2z= 137
27x-25y-3z= -238
9x-9y-z= -82
I'm a little confused. How do I solve this equation?

Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
-15 15 2 137
27 -25 -3 -238
9 -9 -1 -82
multiply last row by 5/3
and add to the 1st row
-15 15 2 137
27 -25 -3 -238
0 0 1/3 137-82(5/3) = -273/3
divide 1st row by -15
1 -1 -2/15 -137/15
27-25 -3 -238
0 0 1/3 -273/3
keep doing row reductions until
you to
1 0 0 125.5
0 1 0 116.5
0 0 1 163
solution is
x= 125.5
y = 116.5
z = 163
