Augmented matrix

Write the augmented matrix of the system and use it to solve the system. If the system has an infinite number of solutions, express them in terms of the parameter z.

-15x+15y+2z= 137

27x-25y-3z= -238

9x-9y-z= -82

I'm a little confused. How do I solve this equation?

Mark M.

Do you know what is an augmented matrix?

-15·(-5) + 15·4 + 2·1 = 75 + 60 + 2 = 137 27·(-5) - 25·4 - 3·1 = -135 - 100 - 3 = -238 9·(-5) - 9·4 - 1 = -45 - 36 - 1 = -82 Check completed successfully. Answer: x = -5 y = 4 z = 1 The above are the answers given by using: onlinemschool.com/math/assistance/equation/gaus/ Not sure where mistake was made?
