Elevator normal force help ASAP!

A box (m1 = 1.0 kg) is in an elevator which is accelerating upward at 3.00 m/s^2. The elevator has a mass of m 2 = 2000 kg. Find the normal force on the box from the elevator.


a) Draw a Free Body Diagram (FBD) of m1 or m2. Include coordinate axes!


b) Split the forces on m 1 or m 2 into y components.


c) Use Newton’s Laws to determine the normal force of the box .
