Can I meet with a client via Zoom?

Good evening!

I have my first session tomorrow evening with 2 boys who need help on a project. One of the boys' moms is hiring me and wants us to meet on Zoom. She said she's had trouble with the Wyzant online tool before.

Is this a problem?

Will I still be able to get paid if we meet via Zoom?

This is a forum for academic questions however, I'll answer this from a tutor's perspective. It is not a problem however, the free Zoom account has a limit of 40 minutes for a session. If you plan to meet longer, you can have 1 session for 40 minutes and a second session immediately following for another 40 minutes. It's a pain but I do it all the time.

Thank you. How do I ensure they have payment on file? Do they pay after the session, during the session?!? Sorry...newbie here.
