Can I meet with a client via Zoom?
Good evening!
I have my first session tomorrow evening with 2 boys who need help on a project. One of the boys' moms is hiring me and wants us to meet on Zoom. She said she's had trouble with the Wyzant online tool before.
Is this a problem?
Will I still be able to get paid if we meet via Zoom?

You can use Zoom or any platform you want, you just need first to schedule the lessons on Wyzant and then have the meeting on Zoom or wherever. As well as making sure they have payment on file and that you charge through Wyzant. Otherwise, no issues.
If I got something off, someone, feel free to correct me.

This is a forum for academic questions however, I'll answer this from a tutor's perspective. It is not a problem however, the free Zoom account has a limit of 40 minutes for a session. If you plan to meet longer, you can have 1 session for 40 minutes and a second session immediately following for another 40 minutes. It's a pain but I do it all the time.02/09/23
