My tutor said he was available at 5 and is not showing up. The calendar says the session is at 8 but he said 5
What is happening? It's my first session

Check to see that you and your tutor are in the same time zone (you can see that in each other's profile section. There may have been a misunderstanding on the time schedule. When a tutor books a session(s) it will appear to them in their own local time zone and when you receive the session booking notification it will appear to you in your local time zone which may or may not be the same time you and the tutor discussed in messages or video chats. I make it a habit of requesting students confirm scheduling and also provide an e-mail/phone number in case more immediate contact is needed to ensure proper scheduling/rescheduling/canceling of sessions.
