I have the Miles per hour is 178, but I can't figure out how to take that and get degrees.

You actually only need to know the revolutions per minute. Here’s how it works:

There are 60 min/hr, so:

3000 revolutions/min = 3000*60 revolutions/hour.

And there are always 360° / revolution, so:

(3000*360)*60 degrees/hour.
