The curve above is the graph of a sinusoidal function. It goes through the points (-4,0) and (2,0). Find a sinusoidal function that matches the given graph. If needed, you can enter π=3.1416... as 'pi' in your answer, otherwise use at least 3 decimal digits.

It's an M-shape with the highest peaks being (1/2,3) and (-5.5,3) and the curve down in between being (-2.5,-3). The (-5.5,3) touches -4 on the x-axis to get to (-2.5,-3). The (1/2,3) touches -1 on the x-axis to get to (-2.5,-3).
