The curve above is the graph of a sinusoidal function. It goes through the points (-4,0) and (2,0). Find a sinusoidal function that matches the given graph. If needed, you can enter π=3.1416... as 'pi' in your answer, otherwise use at least 3 decimal digits.

I think you mean f(x)=3cos((π/3)*(x-.5))
6 is period, (x-positive offset) coefficient B=2π/6.
don't make mistake of saying 3cos((πx/3)-.5)
the offset needs to be included as (x-positive offset value), or (x+negative offset value)
x=-2.5
f(x)=-3
x=-4
f(x)=0
