dose a straw have 2 holes or dose it just have 1?

I have been conflicted by this question and it seems I never get the same answer. please help someone

The straw has one hole in it (just as creating a road through a mountain requires a single tunnel).

The tunnel, though, has two openings: one at one end of the tunnel, and the other at the other end. This is similar to a pipe in Computer Science having two ends: an end for writing, and an end for reading.
