Hi Bear,
Remember that in arithmetic sequences there is a constant difference between consecutive terms.
Is this the case in your sequences? Let's substract consecutive terms (a2-a1, a3-a2, a4-a3, etc) and check.
For sequence 1: 7/6-1/2 = 7/6-3/6 = 4/6
11/6- 7/6 = 4/6
5/2- 11/6 = 15/6- 11/6 = 4/6
Yes!
For sequence 2: 1/3-1/2 = 2/6 - 3/6 = -1/6
2/9- 1/3 = 2/9-3/9 = -1/9
Already no!
