Q has degree 3 and zeros 5, 3i, and −3i.

Glad to hear it! You want an equation for Q, perhaps? Each of those zeros corresponds to a term in a multiplication. So, a zero of 5, means a term (x-5), because inserting x=5 makes the term zero! (and, the whole multiplication result is therefore 0). The 3i and -3i are similarly terms of (x-3i) and (x+3i). Note that the i's disappear when these two terms are multiplied. multiply all 3 terms together, and you get Q=f(x). It's that simple....
