Let x = amt of the first investment
Let y = amt of the second investment
Let z = amt of the third investment
From the total amount invested, we get this equation
x+y+z=15000
From the interest earned we get the following equation
-0.08x+0.032y+0.058z=274
The third equation gives us the following: second = 2000+third
y=2000+z
I can solve this system any method I like, I used the rref feature on the calculator
Let x = amt of the first investment = $3000
Let y = amt of the second investment = $7000
Let z = amt of the third investment = $5000
