tan(t - π) = [tant - tanπ] / [1 +(tant)(tanπ)] = [1/3 - 0] / [1 +(1/3)(0)] = 1/3
Note: tan t is periodic with period π. So, the value of tan t is always the same as the value of tan(t - π).
