I am chemical engineer/scientist who is passionate about STEM
Total # of cups = 280
1st team = 90 cups in 60 minutes
2nd team = x cups in t minutes
3rd team = 70 cups in 90 minutes
# of cups to be made by 2nd team to meet required amount = 280 - 90 - 70 = 120 cups.
The second team needs to prepare 120 cups to meet requirement

Answer:
If I add together: 90 + 70 =160, then 280 - 169 = 120.
The second team should prepare 120 cups of soup.
