Find all solutions of the equation in the interval [0, 2𝜋). (there are seven questions)

  1. sin(x)=-1/2
  2. sec(x)=sqrt2
  3. 3sin(x)+sqrt3=sin(x)
  4. tan2(x) − 1 = 0
  5. sin2(x) + cos(x) + 1 = 0

ur the best thanks!

I wholeheartedly agree with Mark. Mel, you would get much more out of using Ask an Expert if you displayed where you are having understanding issues. The following picture of a Desmos graph shows how you might present your work and ask a question (select the link below, right click and use "go to..."). desmos.com/calculator/hmxswas1m2 The steps used to post that picture. 1. Did the work on notebook paper. 2. Took a picture and uploaded to computer. 3. Went to Desmos and used the "image" menu item, uploading the image to the Desmos graph. 4. Turned off grid, x-axis, y-axis under the wrench icon in the upper right hand corner. Resized the image by dragging corners of the picture.

The easiest way to solve this is to look at a unit circle chart and associate the sin and cos values to get the angle values. A hint for #5 is to convert sin^2(x) to 1-cos^2(x) and use the quadratic equation to find cos(x).
