This direction is much easier.
From (r, Θ), you get (x, y) with these equations:
x = r cos Θ
y = r sin Θ
(-6, -π/4)
x = -6 cos -π/4 = -6 • √2/2 = -3√2
y = -6 sin -π/4 = -6 • -√2/2 = 3√2
Answer : (-3√2 , 3√2)
(-2 3π/4)
x = -2 cos 3π/4 = -2 • -√2/2 = √2
y = -2 sin 3π/4 = -2 • √2/2 = -√2
Answer : (√2 , -√2)
