A 650-ft guy wire is attached to the top of a communications tower. If the wire makes an angle of 65° with the ground, how tall is the communications tower? (Round your answer to the nearest foot.)

The side opposite the angle with the ground
is the the height of the tower. The wire is
the hypotenuse.
The trig function Sin uses the
opposite side and the hypotenuse.
Sin65o = T/ 650
or T = 650 * Sin65o
T = 589ft to the nearest foot
