V_ar: velocity of the air relative to the runner.

V_a: velocity of the air to the ground

V_r: velocity of the runner to the ground

If West is +x and South is +y, then:

vectors: V_ar = V_a - V_r = 6m/s î - 8m/s û; magnitude of V_ar = sqrt[(-8)²+(6)²] = 10m/s <-- MAGNITUDE

Direction: arctan (3/4)= 36.86°
