This question has been answered separately by two other tutors. But here is a Desmos graph offering some more details.
If f(x) = -4e-x and g(x) = -2x - 9, both functions can be graphed separately and the point of intersection found by using tools available for point of intersection of two functions. On Desmos you can click the point of intersection to display the coordinates. or use the Desmos List operator along with the regression operator (tilde) to get the x coordinate of the point of intersection (see row 4 of the graph).
Another possibility is to define h(x) = f(x) - g(x). Where h(x) intersects the x-axis (root) will give the x-coordinate of the point of intersection.
