an island is 4 miles from the nearest Point p on a straight Shoreline. A town is 12 miles down the shore from p.

If a person can row a boat at an average speed of 2 mi per hour and same person can walk 4 mi per hour, express the T that it takes for person to walk to islan as a FN of the distance x from P to where the person lands. ( x to 12-x)

The time T_row it takes the person to row from point x to the island is (x² + 16)^0.5/ 2

The total time it takes to get from the town to the island T(x) = (x² + 16)^0.5/ 2 + (12-x)/4
