Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
f(g(x)) = f(x^2-6)
= 3(x^2-6) +1
= 3x^2 -18+1
= 3x^2 -17
Unless by fg(x) you meant f(x)g(x)
then it
= (3x+1)(x^2-6)
= 3x^3 +x^2 -18x -6
