I am a fresher maths and physics faculty .
WE HVWE THE MASS OF THE PARTICLE BE M and we apply a force F on the particle to produce an accleration 0f 14m/s^2 hence from newton's second law F = m(14).....(1)
now force becomes 2F and mass is halved hence mass equals to m/2
now let say the accleration now is w hence 2F = mw/2 w = 4F/m now F/m = 14 hence
w = 4(F/m) now F/m = 14 from 1 hence w = 4*14 =56m/s^2
