I would suggest to use one of maxwell equations, specificicaΔlly the 3rd maxwell equation, since we know that emf = - d/dt ∫∫ B * da = dB/dt * A = B/Δt * A for the energy, emf is in units of capacitance, then 1/2C^2/C

the coil is placed perpendicularly with the magnetic field.

b) the energy formed in the process.
