Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
Math is a type of language. It's Greek to a lot of people. Most colleges have a language requirement, so students take a year of Spanish or French usually. But some colleges allow math courses to fulfill the language requirement, as math really is a language. Some people are better at learning languages than others. There's some people with brains hardwired for math, which includes our major scientists: Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein.
But anyone can learn a language with enough practice, it's just that some can learn much more quickly than others. No matter how hard, it can be done, with enough time & practice.
Math is also logic, a branch of logic. It's more logical than other sciences where you have learn things that aren't so logical. Practice math enough and you begin to see the logic. Although there are short cut rules that you just have to learn and the logic isn't so obvious. You have to memorize the multiplication tables, for example. Some integrals are so difficult about all you can do is find integral tables or an integral calculator
Then there's common core where the education system has been trying to promote more advanced math at earlier grades, so it may seem more complicated than you'd expect.
With the internet there are websites you can use to calculate z scores, integrals, derivatives and other math problems, so you can find help if the problem is too difficult. Or submit your problem to Wyzant.
compared to life itself, with endless problems and disasters, math is relatively benign, not as hard.
