Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
1/(1-sinx) + 1/(1+sinx)
put the two fractions over a common denominator
(1+sinx + 1-sinx)/((1-sinx)(1+sinx)
= (1+sinx + 1 -sinx)/(1 -sin^2(x))
= 2/(1-sin^2(x))
note that sin^2(x) + cos^2(x) = 1, and 1-sin^(x) = cos^2(x)
= 2/cos^2(x)
= 2sec^2(x)
