A light ray strikes water with an angle of 40 degrees. What should be the angle for the ray when it strikes glass, if the refraction angle is to be the same?

The answer is 52 degrees

sin40°/sinθ = n; for water n = 1.33. sinθ = sin40°/1.33 = 0.48;

For glass sinα/0.48 = 1.5; sinα = 0.48·1.5 = 0.72; α = sin^-10.72 = 46°
