Justin sells tickets at the theatre. At the end of the evening, he had $524.00 in toonies and $5 bills. The total number of coins and bills was 145. How many toonies and $5 bills does he have?

2T + 5B = 524

5T +5B = 5(145) = 725

subtract 2nd from the 3rd equation

5T - 2T = 725-524 = 201

T = 201/3 = 67 Toonies

2(67) + 5(78) = 524

134 + 390 = 524
