What does 'reflecting more light' or 'reflecting less light' mean?

For eg- we have 2 identical torches.

We illuminate 1 torch at a mirror, and the other, at a wooden table.

So, the amount of rays is equal.

What do you mean, what do you mean "reflecting more light". You don't care about the rays that are incident on the table or the mirror, reflection means the rays that come back. If more rays come back, that's reflecting more light. Frankly, I'd bet on the mirror.
