g(t) = et − t with domain [−1, 1]
1) find, g'(t) = et − 1
2) g'(t) = 0 ====> et − 1 = 0 ====> et = 1 =====> t = 0
3) g(0) = 1 ======> ( 0 , 1) is max or min
4) find g(-1 ) and g (1) ====> g(-1 ) = 1/e + 1 AND g (1) = e - 1
5) ( 0 , 1) is abs and local min (1, e-1) is abs max
