Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
3(x-1)^2 + (x-1)
= (x-1)[3(x-1) + 1]
= (x-1)(3x -3 +1)
= (x-1)(3x-2)
3(x-1)^2 + x-1
=3(x^2-2x+1) + x-1
= 3x^2 -6x +3 + x -1
= 3x^2 -5x + 2
= (3x -2)(x-1)
