ERRANDS When Eduardo goes to the bike shop, he always stops at a local pizza place that is along the way. The ratio of the distance Eduardo travels from his house to the pizza place to the distance he travels from the pizza place to the bike shop is 2:3.

C) the problem assumes he traveled in a straight line to the pizza place and and in a straight line from there to the bike shop

2/(2+3) times 30 = 12 miles from home to pizza place (assuming the diagram is not to scale)

but if the diagram is to scale, then 18 miles from home to pizza place, and the ratio got typed backwards and should have 3:2 as the ratio, to match the diagram.
