General Physics 2 - Capacitors

Please do answer very well and explain very briefly, I can't get this one and its pretty hard... Thank you in advance!

Assume you have two system where both of them have the same battery, and two capacitors of the same capacitance. One system is arranged in series, the other is in parallel. Among the two, which system has a higher total stored charge?

The system in parallel combination will have more stored charge as stored charge is proportional to the capacitance of system and for parallel combination the net capacitance is greater for the individual capacitors
