If acceleration of 2 objects dropped from same heights (neglecting air resistance) is same, so how can we say that they'd take the same time to reach the ground??

They both start at v = 0 and they accelerate at the same rate. Therefore at no time do they have different velocities and they reach the ground at the same time.
