5 ( 3x-1 divided by 5 -2 ) =10

 

3(-6x+4 divided by2 +3) - 5 = 25

 

4x-7 divided by 3 = -9

5(3x-1)/5-5(2)=10

(3x-1)-10=10

3x-1=10+10

3x-1=20

3x=20+1

3x=21

x=21/3

x=7

 

3[(-6x+4/2)+3]-5=25

3[(-6x+4)/2+3]=25+5

3[(-6x+4)/2+3]=30

divide both sides by 3

(-6x+4)/2+3=10

(-6x+4)/2=10-3

(-6x+4)/2=7

multiply both sides by 2

(-6x+4)=14

-6x=14-4

-6x=10

x=10/-6

x=-5/3

 

(4x-7)/3=-9

multiply both sides by 3

4x-7=-27

4x=-27+7

4x=-20

x=-20/4

x=-5
