Use density to perform your calculation.
Using a reference such as your textbook, you should find the density of iron at approx 7.874 g/cm3 (near room temperature). Density (ρ) equals mass (g) divided by volume (cm3)
ρ = m/V multiplying both sides by "V" and dividing both sides by "ρ" we get:
V = m/ρ
Plugging in the numbers except using 2000 g instead of 2 kg, we get V = 2000/7.874 = 254 cm3
