Option 1: To find coterminal angles, you add and subtract multiples of 2π. Since your angle has a denominator of 4, subtract 8π/4 until you get into the range of 0 to 2π.
49π/4-8π/4=41π/4 41π/4-8π/4=33 π/4 and so on.
For this particular range, you should get π/4.
Option 2: how many rotations around the unit circle get you to 49π/4? 8π/4 is one full rotation. 48π/4 is 6 full rotations and your given angle is π/4 radians past this. (Think reference angles).
